World Future Energy Summit at Abu Dhabi

It is very much obvious that the credit crunch is taking its toll on the Sustainability construction in Middle East.

Many sustainable construction jobs are on perish now. Local authorities seems to be doing every possible thing to retain their valuable resources, but how long? Only time can answer to this question

I’ve been to the World Future Energy Summit held at Abu Dhabi, one of the forefront runners in advocating Sustainable Construction in United Arab Emirate. This has given an opportunity to meet many specialist who are very much passionate in continuing their strive to make prove one point over all above their commercial aspirations to the world - that is Renewable Energy is Our Future Energy.

Many of them I met there have spent many decades of their career in this field because of their passion. After all every business bottom line is to “make money “to sustain themselves in the field. I wish their selfless effort in this direction will pay back and help them to emerge as a winner through this current financial turmoil

The renewable energy technology exhibit a range of options starting from small industrial products to major industrial products such as Masdar City Carbon Storage Plant. Among them Solar Collector presented by Menoya Group from Canada was the best stall I visited. This was a good chance for me to learn about the Solar Technology and it’s growth until today.

However, the technology required be evolved further to reach the common human being benefit. This reminds me the definition of Engineer described by one of my mentor – An engineer is the one who apply the knowledge of science to the benefit of human being.

God knows when all we can satisfy his definition. a true engineer .
